Remembering the early days of the Baltimore Colts Marching Band, featuring Marge Schmidt and John Ziemann. This video is not intended for broadcast or sale. It is intended as a gift for those that remember and appreciate the history of the Baltimore Colts Marching Band.

The Governor's Rout

Recently discovered, "A New Song" tells of a celebratory ball or "rout" at the Governor's Mansion in Annapolis. Probably written in early 1783 (and quite satirical), the song is performed at the Brice House by David and Ginger Hildebrand of the Colonial Music Institute, with narration by historian Glenn Campbell.
